Decentralized Solar Power Esp - Jimenez Viso

Capwatt Decentralized Solar Power Esp - Jimenez Viso has received a grant from the European Union under the NextGenerationEU Fund, in the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, for the installation of a solar energy production plant for self-consumption within the programme of incentives linked to self-consumption and storage, with renewable energy sources, as well as the implementation of renewable thermal systems in the residential sector of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, managed by the Andalusian Regional Government, through the Andalusian Energy Agency.

The UPAC Jimenez Viso consists of 1400 solar panels and has an installed capacity of 550 kW AC and 700 kWp DC.

• Reduction of CO2 emissions

Expected results of the project:

• CO2 emissions avoided during the lifetime of the project: 4000 Tonnes
• Expected annual energy: 940.6 MWh/year
• Total energy produced to date is more than 450 MWh.
