The company Sr. Bacalhau - Grupo Rui Costa e Sousa & Irmão, one of the world’s largest processors and marketers of dried salted and deep-frozen cod, took another step towards a more sustainable future through the production of renewable energy.

Capwatt implemented in Mr. Cod two photovoltaic plants in self-consumption, with a total power of approximately 1.3 MW, assuming responsibility for the investment, operation and maintenance of the facilities. These plants will prevent the emission of approximately 454 tons of CO2 annually, equivalent to planting 15 149 trees.
